Vickers Artistic Framing was started by my father, Ron Vickers in 1969. He started making picture frames in his spare time for my mother, Mary Vickers. Her paintings were becoming very much in demand, so they decided to venture into the art world full time together. On the first day of business, they acquired two local wholesale accounts, which effectively began their new venture — “Vickers Artistic Framing.

After working from our family garage for 2 years with employees, they decided to open a gallery and framing store in St. James, NY in 1970.  As a child and young man, working alongside my father, he taught me the framing business and the highest level of customer service.   I was also fortunate enough to inherit the family ‘artistic eye’ for colors, styles, and layouts, so when I moved to South Florida decided to open Vickers Artistic Framing here in Delray Beach in 1997.

I am proud to continue the family legacy, maintaining the highest quality and integrity of customer service of the original Vickers Artistic Framing.
